Compassion. Clarity. Change.
Helping adults navigate anxiety, stress, grief, workplace pressures and life transitions with warmth, compassion and practical support.
A safe space for real conversations and meaningful change.
My journey into counselling was not a traditional one, which is perhaps why I bring a unique perspective to the work I do today.
Before becoming a counsellor, I spent more than 20 years in business, sales and leadership, including running my own business, managing and mentoring others and working with organisations across different sectors. Throughout my career, I found myself increasingly drawn to understanding people - what drives us, what shapes us and what can sometimes hold us back from living the life we want.
Like many of the people I work with, my own life has included periods of challenge, loss, change and reinvention. Those experiences taught me how overwhelming life can feel at times, but they also showed me that healing, resilience and meaningful change are possible. They continue to shape the way I work today, allowing me to offer genuine empathy, compassion and understanding without judgement.

In my late forties, I made the decision to attend university and retrain as a counsellor - a decision that felt both exciting and daunting. I graduated with a First Class BA (Hons) Degree in Integrative Counselling, something I am incredibly proud of and which reinforced a belief I now hold strongly:
It is never too late to grow, heal, change direction or begin again.
Today, I combine professional training with real-life experience, bringing warmth, authenticity and compassion to every client relationship. My background also means I understand both the personal challenges life can bring and the pressures that modern workplaces, careers and changing life circumstances can place on our wellbeing.
Whether you're experiencing anxiety, stress, grief, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, workplace pressures or simply feeling stuck, my aim is to provide a safe, confidential and supportive space where you can explore what's happening at your own pace.
I believe every person deserves to feel heard, understood and accepted. My role is not to tell you what to do or to judge your experiences, but to work alongside you, helping you gain insight, build resilience and move towards the life you want to live.
At the heart of everything I do is a simple belief:
You matter. Your story matters. And meaningful change is always possible.
It's never too late to grow, heal, change direction or begin again.
I offer integrative counselling and coaching-informed support for adults and young people navigating emotional challenges, life transitions and personal growth.
Integrative counselling means I do not take a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, I draw on different therapeutic models and tailor my approach to suit the individual, because every person, story and struggle is unique.
I provide a safe, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly, explore difficult thoughts and feelings and better understand yourself and your experiences.
I work with a range of issues including but not limited to:
Anxiety
Stress
Trauma
Grief
Low self-esteem
Relationship difficulties
Body image concerns
Emotional overwhelm
Major life changes
Alongside therapeutic support, my background in mentoring, leadership and personal development also allows me to bring a more forward-focused perspective where appropriate. Some clients come needing space to process the past, while others benefit from greater clarity, confidence and support in deciding what comes next.
Whether you feel stuck, overwhelmed, lost or simply in need of support, therapy can help you gain insight, build resilience and move towards meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.
In addition to individual counselling and coaching, I also offer bespoke wellbeing support for businesses and organisations looking to invest in the emotional health and wellbeing of their employees.
My approach is integrative, meaning I tailor each session to the individual rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. Every person’s story, challenges and goals are unique, so our work together will always be shaped around what feels most helpful for you.
Some clients come needing space to process difficult emotions, trauma, grief, anxiety or overwhelming life experiences. Others may feel stuck, at a crossroads, or uncertain about what comes next and benefit from greater clarity, confidence and direction.
This is where my approach is a little different.
Alongside therapeutic counselling, my background in mentoring, leadership and personal development allows me to bring a more forward-focused perspective where appropriate. While some sessions may centre on reflection, emotional healing and understanding the past, others may involve helping you explore choices, build confidence, set goals and move towards meaningful change.
In simple terms, some days you may need an empathetic ear. Other days you may need gentle challenge, clarity and direction.
Our work together will be led by your needs, your pace and your goals.
You don't need to be in crisis to come to counselling. Many people simply need somewhere safe to talk, make sense of what's happening, and move forward.
